My BMW e36 Fog Light Dropped

bmw e36 fog light fixing bracket

Just last week my BMW e36 fog light dropped out after I hit a kerb while trying to park from the front. I thought nothing about it, decided to just push the whole bracket into the orginal position.

Lo and behold, after getting back home, the whole fog light went missing and on below is what is left of my left BMW e36 fog light. The fog housing bracket was still intact but is slightly damaged - still pictures on the right.

This has to be my first damage inflicted on my bimmer. On the same day, I brought my car to my trusted mechanic to ask for a quote.

He was not sure if he could secure a single BMW e36 fog light and after about 1 hour of searching, he managed to locate it, I was present at the workshop when he was fixing the bracket. See some pictures I have taken.

I managed to get under the carriage to take some of these shots, to show you how the fog light brackets are secured and replaced. The finished product and the final cost. ;)
The repair took less than 30 minutes, more time was needed to look for this single piece of BMW e36 Fog Light, the finished product is shown and the final cost was $110, that's Singapore dollars inclusive of labor.
