Porsche Boxster - Maybank Treats

The day was 14th December 2007, first time I step foot into a entry level Porsche, the Boxster. Just dropping off at Yew Tee MRT, I hopped on to a cab that took me to Sungei Kadut where Eurokars is located in under 10 minutes, cost me $4. Between the notification to the day I collected this Boxster, was almost a month. had no idea there were so many peopel on the que. anywy, having it for just 1 day, i had to make full use of the ride, driving it top down in the cool evening and 'speeding' along hte highway...not recklessly...anyway as always managed to take some shots for you folks to see...if u ever have the chance to have access to this car through maybank, grab it fast, charge $6k and have it for 1 day. $12k, 2 days...get a choice of the Caynne or the Boxster...the choice is clear for me...being a 2 seater, there was no way i could get the whole fmaily in the ride...so day time belongs to my daughter and son, night time is for me and my wife...

it's best to learn more about the ride before you pick up...found a few good links on wikipedia and the main porsche site of course..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_Boxster

http://www.porsche.com/usa/models/boxster/ - in Singapore, this ride cost around 250k a pop....so no choice but to be really careful when i ride...the excess is at $10k...so cannot play play...the top speed i ever hit..is just 1X0km/hr...sorry dudes dont want no incriminating evidence...hahaha...everytthing about the car felt good...it was kinda noisy though cos it's engine is located in the middle....came with a tretopnic gear which i hardly used actually...to let the top down u have to release a catch near the rear view mirror, depress a button near the handbrake...hold it till it completely covers the top...takes about 15-20sec

The PSM button u see is known as Porsche Stability Mechanism...gives it more stability during fast speed and around bend....the standard equipment is a 16inch rims...not the best looking ones...but hey it's a Porsche...who's complaining??? of coruse being the nice that i am, good stuff must share...so rope in a few hot blooded young man to enjoy the ride too...ok that's it from me folks.....
