Bmw e36 A/C Compressor

The above are pictures of the faulty and reconditioned bmw e36 compressors.

Problem with the bmw e36 compressor...I usually find it extremely cold to turn on the ac in the morning, but some reason when I tried doing so, the ac was working really well, in fact too well, after driving for distance, I heard a loud screeching sound and thought nothing about it until I realized it was getting stuffy in the car.

That's when I decided to pay my mechanic a visit, and according to them, the compressor has been KO. The new replacement would set me back by $900 Singapore dollars, but a re-conditioned compressor is half the price.

Obviously I went for the latter. The whole process took almost 3 hours to be completed, I managed to capture a few shots of the interior of the car. Check it out...

Hi. I live In New Delhi and have an old, but immaculate 1997 E36 convertible. It was sitting in someones garage with just 20,000 km on it. Will post you pics if you want.
Flaming red is not my colour, but looks really nice in that vert.

Anyhow, the compressor is bust (as usual in beamers) and even if it's a weekend car, I can't drive it without the AC in the summer or in the rains :).

I travel to Singapore a few times a year and would like to get a recon compressor like you did.
Can you let me have a reference from whom I should source this ?
Tilak.
