Rear Suspension of 3 Series, E36

Almost one month of driving this e36, I can now understand why Bimmer is really a performance machine! At 14 years of age, the pickup of my 318 is superd, I like the rush that comes with the fast pick up especially when beating the amber light...oops...yes I do that at times...

A strange noise emerge whenever I make a right turn and upon further investigation, we found that the cushion supporting the rear suspension on the right has worned out...see picture.





The suspension bars you see will protrude out in the boot, check out the picture I have taken...Each time when the car makes a right turn...the tugging sound is probably created by the rod above...the picture on the right shows you the place when the suspension comes out in the boot.
