Depending on your driving habits, are you a speeding demon or a drive by the book kind of driver, the braking system in your e36, any car for that matter can wear out pretty quickly. I suspect the previous owner of my car was fast driver, must have been inspired by Fast & Furious...

The workshop I regular go to is located right next to the petrol kiosk, from time to time, mechanics like to just come over for a chat, suspect they must trying to find out if any of my bimmer parts need to be replaced. ;) Unfortunately, they managed to spot an almost red-hot rotor, immediately they said this must be changed. Safety is at stake.

So once again, my car was left in the workshop for close to half a day. I managed to capture a few shots. To check them out... The brake pads needed a change, the brake clamp needed a clean, and the rotor needed to be replaced...

Ok enough about these brakes, it's not something you should save on. The bill was a mid 3 figure sum, now I know my family and I can ride in peace.
